We hosted a wonderful ‘Through the Decades’ 1950s day here at Meyer House Care Home last week.
Our theme for the day was ‘American Diner‘ and we decked out our Home with America and British flag bunting, vinyl records and of course a pink Cadillac!
Our Chef for the day was Jordan who served up some lovely thick delicious burgers, or a nice helping of Leigh’s homemade meatloaf.
To get us all in a rock ‘n roll mood, our very own Debbie and her husband Steve came dressed in 50s outfits and performed music for everyone to enjoy.
What a brilliant party – our residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
