Paper folding
Two of our residents at Meyer House Care Home joined in with our paper folding session last week, when we folded the pages of books to form shapes.
We’ve started with some fairly easy ones – hedgehogs and fairy houses – then will progress onto bigger things, hopefully.
Great fun and a good test for the mind and fingers!
French knitting
Pam is one of our ladies who remembers doing French knitting or ‘dolly bobbin‘ as it was sometimes known in the past, so we all had a little go at it.
Pam really concentrated and gave it her all which was lovely to see.
