We love a bit of sparkle here at Meyer House Care Home and the 5th of November provided the perfect excuse for some, as we gathered for a firework party.
Despite the rain, some of our residents braved coming outside to watch the display in our front car park, snuggled up in blankets and bobble hats. Others stayed inside in the warm to enjoy them from the window.
Our fantastic display lit up the sky and the rockets were so colourful and impressive – we all loved it!
We served soup, hot dogs and burgers during the evening, which went down a treat. We also had hot chocolate on offer to keep everyone toasty and warm.
What a great night – we hope our neighbours enjoyed the show too!
