On Sunday 20 June it was all about our gents, not just the ‘dads’, on Father’s Day here at Meyer House Care Home – they are all loved and so special to us.
Our gents all received a bag of goodies containing their favourite sweets and chocolates, plus a scratch card each and a card with the words ‘Never forget you are someone special‘.
The day was theirs to do with as they pleased; have a pamper, play cards or board games, or watch a film followed by the football – which most chose to do with a nice cold beer and some tasty nibbles!
Our Leelee also made them some lovely cakes to celebrate the day and they all enjoyed being made a huge fuss of, which they all totally deserve.
