Last week at Meyer House Care Home we packed up our camping gear and took our residents on an armchair ‘Carry on Camping’ adventure to Scotland!
Having transformed our lounge into a colourful (and twinkling!) camping scene with rugs, picnic basket and camping chairs, we had lots of fun singing around our campfire, drinking and toasting marshmallows – yum!
We all enjoyed ‘the great outdoors’ with great friends – and even spotted Nessie, who joined us for some selfies! (…. she’s now living in our activities room where she feels very at home!).
Thank you to our amazing Leelee who made our stunning Carry on Camping cake, compete with tent, campfire and a canoe! It looked incredible and tasted delicious.
We all really loved the sights and sounds of Bonnie Scotland. Next stop Ireland – we can’t wait!
