Furry friends
They say a picture paints a thousand words and it certainly does when Pets As Therapy Dog Suzi visits us at Meyer House Care Home – and brings Albus with her. Most of our residents are dog lovers and enjoy their company.
The joy on our residents faces was plain to see as they gave the dogs lots of attention. Our lovely Doris (the lady in bed with the brown blanket) is always so emotional when she receives a visit from Suzi and Albus – it makes her week.
We were lucky last week as Suzi joined us for our Halloween party on Monday 31 October, then returned again Tuesday with Albus – we had some very happy residents!
