Our residents at Meyer House Care Home were very pleased to receive some lovely letters recently from students studying at London South East Colleges, Bromley.
The students had heard about our virtual Cruise and kindly wrote letters enclosing details of their own lives and experiences throughout lockdown and places they themselves have travelled to. They also sent some photos from around the world!
We had a wonderful morning reading all the letters, which included one from a Spanish lady, plus students from Romania, China and India. One student lived in Bexley with her two young children.
We are going to enjoy sending our replies, with some photos of our Cruise.
All the envelopes had words of encouragement written on them, such as ‘I am worthy‘, ‘I am thankful‘, which were so touching.
