We were feeling very ‘hip’ here at Meyer House Care Home, when we held a sixties morning recently to bring a splash of colour and fun indoors!
Our staff and residents got into the spirit of it and dressed to impress in their amazing 60s-style fabrics, headbands and funky accessories, which our ladies and gents thought was brilliant fun.
We never disappoint when it comes to fancy dress – what a groovy bunch we are!
We welcomed a singer in the afternoon, who sang for us from a social distance and provided a lovely backdrop for the party. We all enjoyed singing, chatting and laughing – great fun!
As part of the event, our staff baked some lovely cakes between them and we held a small raffle, which raised a super £197.50 for our Residents’ Fund.
