Good fun was had by all at our Sports Day last week here at Meyer House Care Home.
We had four teams of three residents – Red, Blue, Green and Yellow – so there was all to play for in the day’s events!
The games we organised included:
- An egg and spoon race
- Throwing a bean bag through a clown’s eyes and nose
- Basketball challenge
- Hook a duck
- Race a car
Plus our staff entered into the fun with:
- Three legged races
- Hula hoops
- Turkey hoopla
The atmosphere was brilliant as everyone really entered into the spirit of the day and had a great time trying different games.
The Yellow team were our overall winners – well done to everyone!
