Last week was Carers Week (7-13 June) and to show our appreciation of our Carers at Meyer House Care Home we presented them each with their own goody bag containing some little treats.
We also asked our residents to tell us what they thought about our Carers and added their comments to special little hearts for our staff team. They included;
‘They work hard. I feel safe here with them’
‘Lots of banter between us, they tickle me!’
‘There is laughing with caring’
‘Food is brilliant’
‘Caring and kind’
‘Carers respond when I need them’
A highlight of the week was an amazing cake and cupcakes made by Leigh as a big thank you to all our Care staff. They were covered with icing and fresh strawberries and went down a treat with everyone!
