We celebrated our lovely Lucy’s 104th Birthday here at Meyer House Care Home on Saturday 9 November.
She had her daughters, granddaughters and great-granddaughter with her on her special day and receive a stunning celebration cake, made by Leigh to share with her guests. The family were all very comfortable and relaxed together and really enjoyed their afternoon.
Singer Jamie Steen entertained us with his ‘We’ll Meet Again‘ show on Tuesday 12 November.
Jamie is a real favourite here at Meyer House with our residents, visitors and staff, especially and he changes costumes many times throughout his set, which makes us all smile!
We laughed our way through the day on Friday 15 November with our residents as we enjoyed Children In Need.
We held a small raffle with a fantastic home-made Pudsey Cake, made by Leigh, as 1st prize. Our staff paid NOT to wear uniform for the day and we raised £112.00 – well done everyone!
