Love was definitely in the air on Valentine’s Day this weekend at Meyer House Care Home.
Each of our beautiful ladies received a fresh red rose, a handmade heart and a little poem;
‘Take this heart
And hold it close
Think of your loved ones
You miss the mostTake this heart
And give it a squeeze
Once, twice,
Or as many times as you pleaseTake this heart
And close your eyes
Imagine your beloved
Right there by your side’
Whilst we spoilt our gents with chocolate, a handmade heart and a beer!
Our residents were also treated to a delicious lunch courtesy of our own Leelee Walker, which was beautifully presented;
