World Chocolate Day
Our residents at Meyer House Care Home enjoyed a lovely afternoon tasting a variety of chocolate to celebrate World Chocolate Day on Thursday 7 July.
We had some old favourites on offer, as well as some newer chocolates to try.
Our dishes looked very tempting, packed full of delicious chocolatey treats including chocolate buttons, Ferrero Roche, rum and raisin bars, mint aero, Malteser’s and more! Willy Wonka would be proud!
Sunflower planting
Our residents Doreen, Bill and Freda enjoyed planting their sunflower seedlings recently, which they received in their Jubilee goodie bags.
They look very healthy in their pots and we can’t wait to see them grow!
