Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing cheese and wine afternoon here at Meyer House Care Home – a perfect way to unwind and enjoy a little indulgence together. Our tables were beautifully laid with a tempting selection of cheeses, from creamy Brie and tangy Blue to fruity Wensleydale and classic Cheddar, all served with crisp crackers, juicy grapes, cherry tomatoes and a few tasty olives for good measure. A chilled glass of rosé wine added the finishing touch to the afternoon.
There was plenty of chatter as everyone sampled the different flavours and shared their favourites – a lovely social occasion filled with warmth and good company. In fact it proved such a hit that it’s already been requested again for next week!
