Our residents had a wonderful day on Remembrance Sunday here at Meyer House Care Home.
Our ladies and gents dressed up and reminisced while sharing their wartime stories. After our two minutes silence, we had a good old fashioned sing along, with lots of our residents in the lounge joining in, which they all thoroughly enjoyed.
Everyone commented on how well our lounge was decorated and they really loved our poppy wall with lights. It was so lovely to see so many happy smiling faces – waving their flags and singing along together.
We enjoyed a reflective afternoon tea, with delicious cakes made by Leigh.
