Since leaving Mexico on our Nellsar virtual mini cruise, we’ve been making our way to Egypt and our Meyer House Care Home ‘cruisers’ have been involved in a hive of activities on board our cruise ship!
Valentine’s fun
We enjoyed a lovely Valentine’s Day, making heart picture prints from toilet rolls and enjoying tea and heart cakes on the upper deck.
As part of the celebrations, we enjoyed a wonderful show with Jamie Steen entertaining us with his antics, including an array of impressive costume changes!
Cruising to Egypt
Arriving in Egypt last week, we’ve been savouring some amazing Egyptian food cooked by our fantastic team of Chefs and we’ve all enjoyed dressing up in our Egyptian costumes! We’ve also been creative by painting our own Pharaoh masks, playing Egyptian bingo and having fun with a variety of other games on the upper deck.
Even Suzi our lovely Therapy Dog came to visit, which was such a big surprise for us all.
We’ve all had such a great time on our holiday so far and are looking forward to the final leg of our journey – Japan here we come!
