Our residents and staff at Meyer House Care Home love it when Halloween comes around, as we can’t wait to get decorating!
From spiders and pumpkins, to skeletons and bloody handprints, we had it all! And of course, we went to town with our costumes too as you can see! We had the ‘Three Pumpkins Witches’, ghouls and skeletons and even our youngest pumpkin member – the son of one of our team, and our latest recruit!
We enjoyed carving our Halloween pumpkins and also made an edible Halloween brain to go with our slime jelly and green cakes! Devilishly delicious!! There were, of course, plenty of Halloween sweets to go around too.
We held a raffle which raised £81 for our Residents’ Fund and were entertained by singer Bruce Winters in the afternoon, which was a brilliant way to finish the day.
