It was lovely for us to have so many families join us for our Christmas party on Friday 22 December here at Meyer House Care Home.
As well as families of new residents, we welcomed Shirley, whose dad Bill passed away earlier on in the year. This was the first time Shirley has made it through the doors of our Home as her previous attempts had ended in her turning around and returning home. But this time, she did it! She was so glad she did as she had a wonderful time; and as she always used to do with her dear dad, she had a little boogie. So well done Shirley! We know you will be a regular now at our events and parties and we are so pleased.
As part of the fun, Laura our Receptionist wowed everyone with her choice of festive costume – a inflatable Turkey, which could just about fit through the door, ha!
A wonderful afternoon was had by all!
