Halloween is always a great excuse to look out those fancy dress costumes and we always like to ‘dress to impress’ at Meyer House Care Home!
Our staff turned into an impressive collection of spooky witches, devils, black cats, bats and pumpkins to celebrate the day with residents and relatives at Meyer House.
As part of the day we made ‘spooky pizzas’ with our ladies and gents. We cut out the bases in Halloween shapes and our residents enjoyed adding the tomato and cheese toppings, for a devilishly delicious snack!
We were also delighted to have a wonderful witch’s cauldron chocolate cake to enjoy, which was ghoulishly good!
We played Halloween music throughout the day and also enjoyed taking part in some spooky-themed games. Our residents really loved all the decorations, costumes, special eats and entertainments. Thanks to everyone for a brilliant day!
