This month we took four of our residents from Meyer House Care Home ice skating at Ruxley Garden Centre, which was so much fun!
Our staff took our ladies and gents out on the ice and they really enjoyed the experience together. After their turn on the rink, they spent time looking around the festive displays and gifts in the garden centre before enjoying a lovely lunch with drinks.
We’ve also been out with some of our residents to the shopping centre in Bexleyheath on the bus, to enjoy a browse around the shops before going on for a pub lunch and refreshments – and why not?!
On top of this our ladies and gents have been busy creating their own Christmas cards, using festive stencils. They’ve been very pleased with their creations and have enjoyed tea, biscuits and chocolates during the creative process.
A festive feeling is definitely in the air at Meyer House!
